White?

O Dahlia!

Aching to paint a white flower

so I started with this one

cut and paste?

 a new shredder option?

maybe this will be a good background for something else...

stuck to a solid piece of paper for a little added strength

Right now this piece is under a stack of books to help it settle down.

Will trim and try a little drawing on top.

How to take a piece that I'm unhappy with and turn it into something else...

woven with a little Zen

Not the best strata for a pen drawing - the paper kept snagging the pen at the weave joints. I added some iridescent watercolor to pop up the design.  I prefer the look of the woven paper left alone - where the effects of the watercolor on paper show.

What is this?

I took the picture and painted this flower but haven't a clue what it is. If you know, please leave a comment.
