Every morning 

arising from my bed

I hear snaps and crunches

squeak, rattle and creak

and wonder...

do I have rusty parts?

Just a few steps from my work table this pump hovers over a pot of flowers. Wouldn't it be a great way to water the plant? Well the pump isn't hooked up so the plant needs to be watered like all the rest...

Pink Lady with some old stuff!

It's no secret I like painting stuff that's older than me.
It reminds me just how far we've come in a short while. Now the apple is new and will soon have a little caramel on it and then it will be gone. Just like that...POOF! So I thought it might be nice to do a little portrait of "pink lady" before she was no more.

Gotta go the caramel is ready!
