temptation...

I made some of my glue black

and did a little bit of free hand drawing with it

just to see how it would look

Oh it was fun, too
waiting for the glue to dry so I could add some watercolors

Oh Fun! On a larger scale

I may be addicted to drawing with glue...

...and adding some watercolor...

...and adding some more.  What could be next?

See you later!

sunny day!

It is sunny today
and will be 70 or more
this little glue drawing is the last one
on my table

glue or gel medium? more fun with resist...

I like the shine of the dried glue

better than the flat and not so white look of gel medium

Glued to my chair...

Yes I got out the glue and did a few squirt drawings on watercolor paper and greeting cards. Don't tell! It was a bunch of fun and now I want to do some more!

Mixed Feelings

 Shells
 Starfish

Sunflower

I stink at collage/mixed media work
so  I was eager to take the Strathmore Workshop
on card making
for ideas and pointers on how to...
I guess it's not my favorite thing
but I will keep on
to see if I can find my niche

Something Else again....

 2nd paper bag album
This one is 4x5
and will be perfect for my ACEO Collection

all the pages have a pocket
with a card stock insert

I really like the neutral paper
the varied ACEOs
will really be the focus

Couldn't resist adding a couple leaves

Decided to bind it all with hemp
and it worked out!
The bow is totally unneccessary
and I am not sure I'll keep it.

Something else...

My First Album
made from paper lunch bags

I saw one made where the bottoms of the bags are glued together and make little flaps
or pockets inside the album.

The bags provide an accordion effect that allows
for bulk inside the album without strain on the binding.

Yes Blue is my favorite color
so I went with a winter theme.

Here you can see the ribbon I used to bind the bags together to make the book.

I used 6 lunch bags

In pairs

Back of the book
Here you can see a little of the binding.
That part took me awhile to figure out.

I am happy I gave this a try and even started another one that I like a lot better.
