Tropical Greetings

 

One more birthday greeting bound for Florida. Reminiscent of some property in the Abacos just waiting for a home to be built!

Somebody will turn 3 real soon...

greetings and salutations...

The first of a series of birthday cards.

From September to February I have a bunch of birthdays to acknowledge and celebrate in my watercolor way.

This one is ready to go just in time...it needs to be mailed on Tuesday.

Maybe Next Year...

Someone I love is having a birthday...and this wishful thought is appropriate.

If anybody told me I'd be painting football helmets in watercolor, I'd have recommended a brain check.

OK, I had fun drawing and painting this "still life" :D

Somebody Special...

My littlest grandson will be 2 soon. He brought this doll cross country when he came to visit this summer.

He likes Toy Story as much as I like licorice...

There was no doubt about what to paint on his birthday card!

Felicitations

I'm still at it and will be carrying on with greetings for several more days (if not weeks) It's great to be able to take the orchids out of the window and pop them on my table to paint.










This was a good year for the orchids. They bloomed to welcome my house guests and now do a little portrait sitting.













I must also give a nod to the beach lovers celebrating a birthday. This is a beach in the Abacos.
