Magnetic!

New use for old dominoes?

Had a fun time making these little magnets...yes, they are watercolor!

I sanded the dominoes (reverse side) and put on a couple layers of Daniel Smith watercolor ground.
Then I sanded the ground a little too.  I like a bit of texture.
Painted these little pieces with my watercolors and sprayed them with Kamar Varnish, added a magnet (over the dots) and Voila!
Magnetic watercolors.

Clever idea Lee. I wonder if I've got some old dominoes I can do this with. They'd would be wonderful for the the neighbor gift exchange at Christmas.
