Here's a formal portrait in memory of a dear friend and companion Tomorrow my red eared slider. At least I caught him with his mouth closed and eyes open.
He didn't exactly snore but did greet me with a breathy "AAH".

He/She is so cute. Can you tell what sex a turtle is? If so, how?
Pretty much guessing...he had long nails/claws and was smaller than others his age. Plus he was adventurous when I put him on the lawn to exercise :D

He looks like a great companion. Listens intently to everything you say and then turns and walks away without a comment I'm sure. No back talk. Hmmmmm, maybe I need a turtle!
