It must have been the digging, dividing and replanting that got me anticipating the Irises. It's a good thing. Now I'm painting a few Easter cards and the Irises work for that format, too.

Beautiful Lee, I love Irises they are so feminine. My mom called them flags, wonder if anyone else did or still does.
Marlene, I found a reference photo for a red one that grows in the Southeast...called Red Flag ;)
