Look what I found in Idaho
A Spanish Mission just outside of Coeur d'Alene ID...sure took me by surprise. I expect to see them in California and Arizona and New Mexico but this one way up north in the Idaho panhandle caught my eye.
I have (I hope) several photos of the inside that I'll share when I sort them all out. I just breezed through but I found Coeur d'Alene to be such a beautiful place. Much different from my expectations. They have it all. A city with all the city stuff but some beautiful country, a gorgeous lake and I'm sure lots of * snow * in the winter.

I'm so happy to see pieces from your travel journal. What a surprise - a mission in Idaho! Did you get to go inside?

Cataldo Mission has quite a history.
