It's over and I'm in denial...

Summer is over and I'd like one last trip to the beach. These little bits serve as reminders of warmer days, salty air and sand between my toes.

Leftovers?

Souvenirs from the shore Beach Collection I

A watercolor "slice" measures approximately 4 x 9 1/2 inches.

A reminder of the sun and sand to carry you through some cold and wintry weather.

...and the break goes on...

Having fun and thinking summer (cause the weather still isn't cooperating)
I dragged out the shell collection!

By the Sea

Well it used to be!

Now it's part of my collection.

It doesn't remind me of the Bahamas and the sun and sand and coral but it does make me yearn for conch fritters!

SEASHELLS Block all the Winter Weather!

Sand Dollar

Been house bound since the 19th...it snowed here - big time.

Apparently snow removal equipment wasn't on anyone's list!

I don't really have anywhere I want to go but, it's darned annoying that I can't drive anywhere, yet.

Cockle Shell

I am so done with snow; I no longer miss wild blizzards and deep snow drifts.

I can't wait for the big melt revealing all the ferns and mosses that are hiding!

Maybe there'll even be a newt here soon for a visit...
