Excellent Christmas!

I won!

Stillman & Birn was giving away a Gamma sketchbook and set of Pitt Pens....
and I got lucky :D

The paper is a lovely creamy color and is suitable for all dry media
and will accept light washes

So...
I drew a beach dream while lots of folks are getting a winter blast
and colored it with watercolor pencils
whipped out the water brush and here you are!
(I've been told that light wash thing before and it was so nice to be true.)

Now that the water test is out of the way
I can see how the Pitt pens, colored pencils, markers, and drawing pen fare.
This paper is screaming for walnut ink...

Thank You, Stillman & Birn, for sending it out priority mail.
Happy Christmas, indeed.
