OLD and in the way?

 Ages ago, the Buffalo Zoo had an ancient tortoise with a saddle. If you were lucky, like me, you got a turtle ride!
A relatively safe excursion for a small child, actually kinda boring and uneventful.
There's even a chance you'd saddle up and stand still.
It's still a fond memory and how many people can say they rode a turtle? Really?
"Old..."

Summer is here and the time is right for a ROAD TRIP!
This is my 71 Karmann Ghia with the top down and on a roll...
There's just a little sparkle in the tail lights and YES! that is a vanity plate that reads GH1A.

Take a little trip...

Summer travel that's all about seeing the USA through the windows of your car. Head off to a National Park or Forest and stop on the way to see the corn palace and the biggest ball of twine and a National Monument or two.
