Lilac

So late this year...they are just clumps with barely any color.

Two weeks at least before I get to enjoy their scent on the wind.

Can't Cook during the remodel...

My niece is remodeling her kitchen

a serious remodel

walls knocked down 

all new appliances.

While the work is being done

no cooking will happen 

unless it's on the grill.

These will be anniversary gifts

to make sure there's a little food.

I also did a large one with 3 different applications of the colors

dry , water brush and wet paper.

Had a little fun and did a greeting card for my sister in law.

I can see I'll be enjoying these for a quite awhile - the creamy texture is wonderful 

and they are mostly transparent.

I painted over the numbers on the chart  ;^)

On Thursday I had the opportunity to meet Marlene of Marlene's Musings and Lazyhawk on Etsy,  face to face!
We have been chatting on line for almost 4 years. It's so very nice to have cyber friends and wonderful when you get a chance to talk instead of type.
We had a little lunch and bunch of talk and I even got this lovely framed ACEO as a gift!  Gorgeous isn't it?
