Day Eleven! Thirty Paintings in 30 days

All that rain here
means snow on the mountain!
Grab your board
or skis
and get ready for some downhill fun!

Original watercolor available here

Another great day for painting!
Thank You Leslie Saeta for this daily painting challenge.

don't know why...

I love massive cloudy skies on sunny days - on stormy days - and for sunrises and sunsets.
"Stormy" was the result of playing with painting skies.
It shows the black clouds and a bit of rain blocking the sun.
The bit of glow on the horizon and reflected in the water, is evidence of hope for the returning sun.

A Good Day at the Beach

Any day is in Oregon, although it's really been a challenge of late. I this most recent case the umbrella isn't to provide some shade. It may be time to seek shelter but the surf is wild and beautiful and quite hypnotic.
See you later!
