Northern Lights and the TRUTH behind them REVEALED

The challenge this month on The ACEO Challenge is
"Northern Lights"!
It was a fun day trying to create the effect of the lights in the sky in watercolor.
It is the perfect time to reveal the secret ...

It's time to reveal the real TRUTH behind the beautiful lights in the sky!
When Santa's workshop is in full production the light on the top of the North Pole burns 24 hours a day! Today the color is green for a GO on toy production.
Those poor little elves are working 3 shifts in the factory to keep up with demand.
So now you can see for yourself where the Northern Lights originate!

So cute! Good explanation, too. You know I was expecting the whole scientific thing. But Santa, hmmmm, now it all makes sense!

Reminds me of the time I told my granddaughters that a factory making white smoke from it's chimney was actually the "cloud maker." Of course they don't believe it now.

Oh Lee, this is just the best! I have always, always wanted to actually see the Northern lights. From an artistic standpoint the colors just rock. Anyway Santa's workshop, genius :-)
